I've enjoyed working with Coach Antonio over the past several months.

My goal was to be able to run the milage I had previouly without the pain from my knee interferring with daily life. Through managing my running load and helping me with my form he was able to get me to that goal. His communication was excelent. He used my feedback to adjust the plans he made for me and I always felt he had my best interest at heart.

Since hiring Antonio as my running coach, it has made a huge difference in my overall performance. Before working with him, I had been stuck in a pattern of inconsistent running times and not feeling the best for two years. After he became my coach, I noticed my times started to improve and I started to feel a lot better. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my running times.

Beyond the workouts, he does a great job of making sure you feel supported and mentally ready for your goals.  He’s very easy to talk to and gives excellent feedback that actually helps you learn and grow as an athlete. If you are a competitive runner, a casual runner, or someone who runs occasionally for health, I strongly recommend working with a coach.

Antonio worked with me for 16 weeks, and in that short four months he pushed and challenged me in ways I didn’t think were possible. He introduced runs I never would have attempted on my own, provided small but impactful form adjustments, and guided me with clear refueling and hydration strategies. Anytime I had a question, he was quick to respond and always helpful.

Because he is a runner himself, he truly understands the common struggles and mental barriers that come with training. One of the biggest things I learned was the purpose behind different types of runs and how each one contributes to targeted improvement. I also learned that trying to run fast every workout is actually counterproductive.

In just a 16-week marathon training cycle, my PR dropped from 4:16:38 to 3:50:13, that’s an overall improvement of 26 minutes and 25 seconds. I also qualified for the 2027 Boston Marathon with a 14:47 cushion.

Antonio is an excellent coach. He's been coaching me for close to a year and is extremely available for adjustments to training, has a solid training philosophy, and is patient when it comes to coaching me through my own doubts and insecurities as an athlete. I worked with Coach Sierra for about 4–5 months to train for a half marathon, and I can honestly say I would not have been as prepared or as confident without his coaching.

From day one, he took the time to understand my starting point, my schedule, and my goals, then built a training plan that actually felt realistic and sustainable. The workouts were clearly explained, balanced, and progressive, and I never felt like I was just following some generic plan off the internet. He checked in regularly, adjusted things when life or fatigue got in the way, and always explained why we were doing what we were doing, which really helped keep me motivated.

Communication was excellent. He was quick to respond to questions, gave clear feedback on my runs, and was encouraging.

By the time race day came, I felt prepared both mentally and physically. I finished my half marathon feeling strong and proud of the work I had put in, and I credit a huge part of that to coach Sierra and his approach.

I’ve been working with Antonio for approximately 6 months now, and I highly recommend him as a coach! I came back to running after having 2 kids and taking approximately 7 years off. With Antonio’s coaching plan and support I ran a 6 minute PR in my half marathon (compared to my 2017 race!) He met with me to understand my goals, and he puts together a weekly plan based on goals and current fitness level. He’s very thorough and thoughtful in his planning, and he’s always available to chat and support when needed. He even recommended a physical therapist when I was having some soreness in my hip, and the PT was/is awesome, and I’m running pain free!
